Varial Surf Technology is now selling in-house Varial Foil Surfboards. After talking to friends, and seeing a demand in the market for a more quality product, Varial’s owners Parker and Edison built their first foil board.
“We thought our foam would be really great and also recognized that people were looking for foils boards but couldn’t find where to buy them,” Parker Borneman, Varial Director, said. “We made a few to try and that’s when we really started to see the demand.”
After some experimentation with boxes, glass, and color, the first Varial Foil boards were released in February. The easy to paddle out, smooth to ride foils were built to suit first-time foilers and pros alike, with the technology behind them for the perfect performance surfboard.
Adapted from advanced aerospace materials, the Varial foam makes a strong, light and fast hydrofoil surfboard with the perfect amount of stiffness to pump on waves. Every Hydrofoil utilizes Varial’s revolutionary infused glass procedure, which not only makes these boards desirably light but also incredibly strong.
Standard Varial foil surfboards come in three sizes, 4.0, 4.6 and 5.0 and are equipped with 10.75” Future boxes. Each board is hand shaped, custom painted and finished at Varial’s HQ in Ventura, California. The boards are easy to paddle out, smooth to ride and U.S.A. made, making them not only performance-driven but also built to last.
Varial now has stock boards in-house and customizable options available to order online. If you don’t see a board that suits your needs email the Varial team at email@example.com and they can help you build one that will.
